Description

813 Triticale is an awnletted, medium maturity forage variety of triticale. It is an excellent choice for silage, hay, or grazing. 813 can grow to 50-60 inches for forage purposes with good straw strength. Stems are soft and highly palatable. Lower leaves stay green and remain attached during the full growing season. The leaves on 813 are broad and long, providing a very high leaf/stem ratio.
