Description:

WW B-Dahl is a very leafy and nutritious forage, which can be grazed by livestock or harvested as hay. Because of its habit of growth and exceptional forage production, most of the Old World bluestems have shown great potential for re-vegetation of rangeland or abandoned cultivated land. It is suitable for all classes of livestock including Cattle, Sheep, Goats and Horses. It provides good cover for wildlife.

WW B Dahl has good drought tolerance and produces well under dry land or irrigated conditions. It has shown to be one of the best selection of Old World bluestems for forage production, but is not as cold tolerant as other selections.
